Dra. Liliana Orellana

PRINCIPAL CO-INVESTIGATOR
Dr. Liliana Orellana holds a MSc. degree and a PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University. She is Associate Professor of Biostatistics and Director of the Biostatistics Unit, Faculty of Health, Deakin University (Melbourne, Australia). She has worked on the development of novel statistical methods in the areas of robust statistics and causal inference, and has broad expertise working in multidisciplinary teams. Her interests within the empirical field include cancer prevention and surveillance, palliative care interventions and interventions directed to prevent obesity in children and promotion of healthy behaviors. Dr. Orellana has participated as co-investigator in projects funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (Australia) and the National Institutes of Health (USA).
