The ATICA Study is composed of a group of researchers that work to produce evidence regarding the incorporation of cellphone telephony in communication between health care providers and patients.
The ATICA Study foresees its implementation between the years 2017 and 2020 in the Jujuy province, situated in the northern region of Argentina. The study is carried out by the Center for the Study of State and Society (CEDES), in cooperation with the National Cancer Institute of Argentina (INC), the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute of Harvard University, Deakin University of Australia and the Ministry of Health of the Jujuy Province.
In September of 2017, the study received the grant “Grant R01” from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the United States.
